A charming vintage Crown Staffordshire fine bone china vase in the classic Hunting Scene pattern, made in England.
The rounded vase is decorated all around with a wonderfully whimsical English fox-hunting scene: a huntsman in traditional red coat galloping on horseback, running hounds, country cottages, fences and trees. The continuous landscape makes the piece especially appealing from every angle.
A quintessential piece of English country and equestrian style, perfect for a small arrangement of flowers or displayed on its own. Wonderful on a bookshelf, bar, mantel, desk or bedside table—and an especially fun gift for an equestrian or collector of English sporting china.
The underside bears the Crown Staffordshire backstamp and is marked “Hunting Scene.”
